About

Play should bring people closer — not further apart

The best moments in gaming happen between people. But modern life makes it hard to play together. Different schedules, different time zones, different platforms. We're fixing that.

Our mission

Make every player's social circle playable

We started Playprint because we saw a gap between what players want and what games can deliver. Players want to play with friends and family. But life gets in the way — mismatched schedules, different time zones, kids' bedtimes, work commitments.

The industry's answer has been live multiplayer, which requires everyone online at the same time. Or generic AI bots, which feel nothing like real people. Neither solves the problem.

Playprint takes a different approach. We capture how someone plays — their decisions, their patterns, their style — and turn that into a playable opponent. Not a clone. Not a chatbot. Not an avatar. Just their gameplay, distilled into something others can compete against anytime.

And we do it without touching personal data. No voice, no chat, no likeness, no PII. Because the safest social play feature is one that doesn't need any of that to work.

Origin

The moments that matter

"What if my daughter could play against my chess style while I'm at work? What if she didn't need me online — just my decisions?"

A parent who wanted to play with their kid but couldn't be there. Not a clone — just their playstyle, ready whenever she was.

"Our players love the social features, but 70% of sessions are solo because friends aren't online."

A studio that saw the retention data and knew social play was the answer — but couldn't solve the scheduling problem.
